Based in Yufuin, Oita and Osaka, Japan, hyōhaku is a platform engaged in project planning, production, coordination, and communication across the arts and culture. Embracing complexity rather than avoiding it, we find meaning in the subtle, unspoken moments and the ongoing processes that unfold in between. Rooted in everyday life and the relationships that shape it, we work fluidly across disciplines—opening up spaces for dialogue, experimentation, and the emergence of new values.
